COVID-19 AVADirect Extended Update - We Continue to Serve
The Ohio Stay At Home order has extended the Stay at Home Order for the State of Ohio, which began Monday, March 23rd at 11:59pm to May 1st at 11:59pm for all non-essential personnel and businesses. The original order defined essential versus non-essential in a 12 page document, which has defined the Information Technology Sector as a critical service.
AVADirect is considered an essential business under the Information Technology Sector and will remain open during the extension. Our Ohio headquarters and distribution center will remain open and our Sales and Support staff will remain readily available to serve our customers. We need to continue supplying support to our customers working from home, as well as our clientele at research facilities, hospitals and government agencies.
We have been able to sustain operations by minimizing the risk to our employees per CDC and governmental recommendations and continue to monitor public health guidelines and update our policies accordingly. AVADirect is ensuring that all employees maintain a six-foot distance, encouraging proper and frequent hygiene practices, checking employee temperatures and implementing additional cleaning procedures as recommended by CDC’s guidelines.
AVADirect will remain open, actively assembling PCs and supplying support to our customers. Current orders are still on schedule to be shipped and we will continue to serve our customers in the following ways.
Custom Solutions for Working at Home
AVADirect is remaining committed to providing assistance for the many of us adjusting to working from home. Our sales team is full of recommendations on making your home office as connected and streamlined as possible to maximize productivity and comfort.
Maintaining Supply and Order Processing
Our purchasing department is actively studying the latest trends in the market to understand what our customers need before they’re even ordering. We are working hard to ensure that our supply chain remains steady so that we can process and get your PC assembled and shipped to you as soon as possible.
Providing Customer Support
Working from home requires you to be more reliant on technology and can provide it’s own set of problems when technical issues occur. Our technical support experts remain standing by to provide personal tech solutions to ensure you remain at peak productivity.
AVADirect sales and support representatives are ready to answer any questions you may have. We are available during our typical business hours via phone, email or livechat here.
We will continue to provide any updates regarding our operations through our website, email newsletter and social platforms.
We wish everyone continued health during this crisis and continue to aid where we can.
Sincerely,
Alex Sonis
