Two 2TB Caviar Green hard drives are set in RAID 1 (mirroring) to ensure the data stored on this system is not lost, even with drive failures. A blu-ray disc burner is installed in this HTPC, which makes the most sense for blu-ray playback, but most importantly the function to burn blu-ray media. Though, relatively new, it's still a great feature to possess. A TV-tuner, card-reader, and wireless adapter add diverse functionality to this system making it very unique to the end-user's requirements. The OCZ 600W power supply has more than enough power to provide to the HTPC and is also known for quiet functionality. Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit is perfect, considering it has Media Center that will operate in conjunction with the TV-tuner to create an amazing media experience for this end-user.
