With the latest and greatest technology becoming smaller with each release we begin to see a larger trend of small form-factor systems. For those interested in taking advantage of the lesser amount of space needed we offer a plethora of different configuration. One of our most popular small form-factor configuration is the Home Theater Computer System. This particular end-user chose the perfect chipset, the Intel Sandy Bridge, most likely due to the reduced heat generation from the smaller die size of the processor. The H67 motherboard chipset provides the end-user with HD integrated video to help keep heat generation down, and noise levels to a minimum. Considering out customer will use this system for watching video and standard use this is more than sufficient to utilize the system in an satisfyingly effective manner. The OCZ Vertex 3 SSD will help immensely for these purposes. If the video or applications is being run from a file saved within Windows a decent amount of the workload is dependent on the devices the file is stored on; this will ensure the read/write response is very fast. The 3TB of storage, provided by the Western Digital Green Series drive, will keep the customer at bay for data storage for years without concerns for data capacity. The customer has also decided to upgrade to a dedicate GT 520 graphics card. This card does not generate a large amount of heat, like most high-end graphics cards, but it is still very capable of displaying HD image quality without a hitch. The added Addesso remote control will make laying back on the couch and enjoying the fruits of our labor, and the end-users decision making, with ease. This configuration was very well thought out, and will make for an amazing home theater PC for 5+ years, without needing to upgrade any components.
