This configuration was shipped to PC World for a review that was done earlier this month. It received it very high compliments due to the fact it was so high performing for a quiet system. Typically, silent and gaming PC do not belong in the same sentence. We were able to defy nature and build a custom gaming PC that did not shatter ears, but benchmarks. The X79 chipset was a great chipset to consider for such a system; we used Intel’s liquid cooling setup to detain CPU fan noise. We also looked to NZXT and their chassis for noise-dampening materials and quiet fans.
